I recently completed my MFA in Fiction at the Michener Center for Writers. Before that, I studied English at Stanford University.
My work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Iowa Review, Joyland, Nimrod, The Mississippi Review, Fugue, and The Adroit Journal, where I was named a 2023 Anthony Veasna So Scholar.
In 2023, I won The Iowa Review Award in fiction. My work has also been recognized by Michigan Quarterly Review's Ward Prize, American Short Fiction's Halifax Ranch Prize, Fugue's Prose Prize, and Gulf Coast's Fiction Prize. Additionally, I was a contributor at the 2021 Sewanee Writers' Conference and the 2023 Tin House Summer Workshop.
I grew up between Buffalo, NY and Charleston, SC. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, swimming, and art museums. I live in Brooklyn.
